Chain Reaction is a bicycling club located in Dubuque, Iowa with an active membership of approximately 200 people. The club originally focused on mountain biking, but has evolved to encompass both road and mountain biking with an emphasis on training and racing.
The Chain Reaction Bicycle Club is committed to excellence in cycling, and life-long participation in the sport at all levels. The vision of the club includes recreational and fitness biking, touring, and racing. CRBC sponsors recreational, touring and racing cycling activities and events, provides community educational programs, advocates for bicyclists' rights, educates about safe bicycling practices, and promotes, builds, and maintains bicycle trails.
Chain Reaction has promoted an annual series of races known as The Soul Series. These are multi-disciplined, from road races to mountain bike time trials. These events include the Iowa State Road Race Championships, the Eagle Point Criterium and the Blockhouse Roll Mountain Bike Festival.
