The Spring Fling Century is an annual bicycle ride in Carthage, Missouri. The ride raises funds for the Joplin Trails Coalition to support trail-building efforts in the Joplin area.
The Spring Fling Century offers ride lengths of 15, 35, 50, 70 and 100 miles. All rides are on quiet country roads with minimal traffic. SAG support and rest stops with food and water are provided. A delicious post-ride meal will be provided free to all riders courtesy of Caldone's Italian Restaurant. All routes start and end at Kellogg Lake Pavillion in Carthage, MO.
100% of the proceeds from this ride will go towards planning, creating, and maintaining a regional trail system that will not only connect several communities in the region, but will also provide a practical means of non-motorized transportation within each community.Ride registration is 100% tax deductible.
