The Bellevue Bicycle Club of Bellevue, Nebraska is dedicated to the encouragement of all aspects of bicycling, including touring and mountain biking. The purpose of the club is to sponsor recreational cycling activities, encourage bicycling as a transportation alternative and to promote bicyclists' rights and safe bicycling practices. BBC is a volunteer, non-profit organization.

Member of the club strongly believe in bicycle advocacy and community involvement. Their participation in programs such as Bike to Work, Share the Road and The Ride of Silence have helped show the community that bicyclists have rights to the road, too. The club has also supports a number of charitable organizations and donate volunteer hours to various local cycling events, such as the club's annual Spoke & Hub Century.

The Big Blue Biking Club is located in Beatrice, Nebraska, and is a cycling and social club for all ages and abilities. They have regularly-scheduled rides each week. They promote healthy fun and safe riding by scheduling group rides on the highways, rail trails, city bike paths and off road.

The Big Blue Biking Club hosts the annual Homestead 100 Bike Ride.

The Elkhorn Valley Cycling Club was formed to promote the sport of cycling in Northeast Nebraska via participation, competition, and guidance. The club has also worked to establish local mountain bike trails at Maskenthine Lake, and expansion and improvements are planned for the future.

Club members are encouraged to involve family and friends in club activities. Family support is a key component in life and sport and that is very apparent within the Elkhorn Valley Cycling Club. It is not unusual for non-cycling family members to turn out in support of a club function even if the member is not present. This type of commitment and support has been the key to success. Club members also regularly participate in community activities and youth projects to spread the word about cycling and a healthy lifestyle.

Flatwater Cycling Team is a small grassroots race team from Lincoln, Nebraska, looking to race their bikes, grow and promote the sport of cycling, stay fit and have a little fun in the process.

Flatwater Cycling has become a Midwest leader in race participation and promotion. In addition to racing road, mountain and cyclo-cross, Flatwater Cycling has led the way in Nebraska promoting high profile, quality events, including the Capital City Criterium and Pioneers Park Grand Prix. The members of Flatwater Cycling are actively involved in the Nebraska Cycling Association, local trail advocacy, and developing younger riders through clinics and other grassroots efforts.

The Great Plains Bicycling Club is Lincoln, Nebraska's social bicycling club. They organize rides, publish a newsletter, have club meetings and more. They also have an active bicycle education program which reaches over 1,000 kids and their parents each year. They invite you to join them on their rides and other activities.

In addition to a number of weekly and monthly rides (see their ride calendar), the Great Plains Bicycling Club also sponsored annual rides, including the Spring Fling (usually held in late April), the Firecracker 50 (on July 4th), and the Heatstroke 100 (in late August). In exchange for an entry fee, participants get a route map and T-shirt (or similar graft), and support is provided along the route. There are break stations with snacks and drinks provided, and there will be several roving support vehicles to assist riders with problems.

iBikeNebraska is a resource for recumbent bike riders in the Omaha, Nebraska area.

The Mid-America Bicycle Club was established in Kearney, Nebraska by 4 founding members in 1989 and today they have over 60 members that enjoy cycling together, either on or off road. In addition to their weekly rides, they have many fun activities like dinner rides, picnics, camping trips and an annual century tour that is one of the best in the state.

The annual Mid-America Century Tour is their premier event, and has been a tradition since 1992. The usual tour route begins at Cottonmill park in Kearney, follows Highway 30 to Lexington, and then south to Johnson Lake. After a delightful ride around the lake and lunch at the marina, they follow the same route returning to Kearney. Options are also offered for shorter distances if you prefer not to ride the 100 mile route.

Midwest Cycling Community is a virtual bicycle club built around the Trek factory stores in Omaha, Kansas City, and St. Louis.

The Midwest is full of cyclists roaming the back roads and trails, where great athletes push themselves harder each ride because the accomplishment feels good. The Midwest is full of people who like bikes just as much as you do. No matter how you like to ride your bike, the Midwest Cycling Community is an opportunity for you to meet other people who share your interest and experience something new.

Nebraska Brevet is the official site for information about randonneuring in Nebraska.

The site contains ride rules and regulations, as well as a complete schedule of upcoming 200K, 300K, 400K, 600K, and 1000K rides, plus maps and cue sheets.

Randonneuring is long-distance unsupported endurance cycling. This style of riding is non-competitive in nature, and self-sufficiency is paramount. When riders participate in randonneuring events, they are part of a long tradition that goes back to the beginning of the sport of cycling in France and Italy. Friendly camaraderie, not competition, is the hallmark of randonneuring.

The Nebraska Sandhills Randonneurs host ACP and RUSA sanctioned long-distance bicycle rides in and around the Sandhills region of our vast midwestern plains state. Long-distance, unsupported, non-competitive, endurance cycling in the Sandhills of Nebraska.

NESHR has no club membership dues, however, membership with RUSA is required for ride credit towards awards.

The Omaha Pedalers Bicycle Club sponsors a wide variety of bicycle rides and other related activities as well as providing useful information about bicycling to its members and community. It is Omaha's largest bicycle club with over four hundred members, many of whom are new to bicycling when they join the club. They excel with training, positive attitudes, enthusiasm, persistence and the desire for the adventure of being outdoors. They range in age from infants to several members that are in their seventies.

The club sponsors an assortment of weekly ride routes for all interests and capabilities of bicycles and their riders. There are also Spring and Fall overnighters, picnic rides and much more. Members also participate in various fund-raising events and coordinates advocacy activities for safety and trail funding, and supports local law-enforcement and fire/rescue patrols.

Organized in 1996, the Sandhills Bicycle Club (SBC) has approximately 35 members, most of whom are mountain bike riders. The Club hosts a weekly Saturday morning ride, starting in the Yucca Dune parking lot at 7:30 AM. The SBC is also involved in community activities such as trail building, safety rodeos, and trail advocacy projects.

The club is sponsored by the Yucca Dune outdoor sporting goods store in Valentine, Nebraska.

Team Kaos is a USA Cycling sanctioned cycling club based in Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska. Members range from 15 to 65 years of age, from the casual recreational rider who never enters bike races to the hard core category 1 rider who races frequently.

For the last 25 years Team Kaos has been on the podium at many local and regional races, plus we help with community rides and other events. The major event that we promote is the Omaha Cycling Weekend held the third weekend of July.

The University of Nebraska Cycling Team is a sport club at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. They race at collegiate cycling events in the Midwest as well as NORBA and USCF races year-round.

They are not just about racing though, as they also do group rides, road and mountain biking, and other activities such as trail maintenance. At monthly meetings the club teaches bicycle maintenance and riding techniques. If you have ever wanted to ride but didn't have a partner, then join the club and you will never have that problem again. Trips and tours are also enjoyed by club members.

The team organizes the annual Tour de Husker race weekend, which features a road race, time trial, and criterium.
