Big Hill Lake

Big Hill Lake is nestled in the rolling, timbered "Little Ozark" countryside just west of Parsons, offering many recreational opportunities including fishing in pristine waters, hunting, boating, picnicking, swimming, bird and animal watching, and hiking trails. The lake contains 1,240 surface acres of water with 20 miles of shoreline, and covers 2,572-acres of land.
The Big Hill Lake Bridle Trail is a 17-mile trail open for horses, hikers, and cyclists. The trail winds through a variety of terrain ranging from open meadows to wooded hills within view of the lake. The singletrack trail features a number of steep hills and deep hollows, and is heavily wooded with numerous roots and rocks.
