Punk Rock Cycling is a Des Moines, Iowa womens bicycle racing team that features some of the strongest riders in the Midwest as well as up-and-coming stars. The team roster includes multi-state Champion and National Duathlon Champion Jane Riessen, Jennifer Greenberg, who recently won the Goldsprint Courier World Championships in Dublin, Maria Ruhtenberg, Emily Schaapveld, Ana Nelson, and Kelli Mente. The team was founded by Donny Quixote, who also serves as coach and team director.
The club hosts a number of races, including weeknight criteriums, duathlons, cyclocross races, and alleycat races. In addition to races, the club also hosts regular recreational rides, social events, and educational events such as clinics and demo rides.
