Family Bicycles' mission is to help everyone discover the joys of traveling by bicycle. Whether you are going down the street for a cup of coffee with friends, commuting to work or, lucky you, taking the time to travel our country's back roads, they are there to help. They believe in using the right bike for the trip, not in making the bike fit the trip.

They are committed to bicycle travel and want to spread the message about this fun and worthwhile activity. They believe bicycle travel is a key component of ethical environmental stewardship - and cheap too. Travelling by bicycle brings you closer to the elements (in more ways than one!) and helps each person develop a greater understanding of their part in preserving and improving our environment in Kansas City and beyond.
