The city of Clay Center, Kansas, known as the "Best Kept Secret in the Midwest", provides camping facilities at several locations:
- Otto Unruh Stadium -- Two campsites with access to electricity and water. Donations accepted. [location]
- Huntress Park -- Six campsites with access to electricity and water. Donations accepted. [location]
- Clay County Fairgrounds -- Four campsites with access to electricity and/or water. $12-15 [location]
- East Highway 24 -- Six campsites with access to electricity and water. $12 [location]
Each of the locations may be used by either RV or tent campers. Fees are paid on the honor system, at a self-pay box at each site.
