Prescott City Lake

The city of Prescott, Kansas provides free tent camping at Prescott City Lake. The lake is located approximately 1 mile east and 1/2 mile south of town, off of Vernon Road. The lake features 25 acres of surface water, and public access along the east and south sides of the lake.

Tent camping is available anywhere along the south side of the lake, at no charge. There is a picnic shelter, picnic tables, fire rings, a stone hearth, trash cans, and vault toilets. There is no potable water or electricity available.
