Richmond City Lake

The city of Richmond, Kansas provides free tent camping at Richmond City Lake. The lake is located approximately 1 mile south, and 1-1/4 mile east of town, just north of 2500 Road (gravel road). The lake is small, at only 2 acres, and also serves as the city park.

Richmond City Lake allows tent camping at the lake, at no charge. There are flush and/or pit toilets, shelters, picnic tables, trash cans, and a concession stand at the nearby baseball diamonds sells food and drinks at certain times. There are no RV hookups. There is no potable water.

Note that this photo was taken during a very dry period, so the lake water level was very low, and all the grass was dry. It offers a trash can and fire ring, but no other services -- no picnic table, no restroom, no drinking water.
