Blue Springs Glowing Night Ride

The Blue Springs Glowing Night Ride is an annual late night bicycle ride through the streets of Blue Springs, Missouri. Experienced cyclists of all ages are welcome. The event is not timed; ride at your own pace.

The route is be a 13-mile loop. Riders may choose to ride the route for a second loop for a 26-mile distance. No riders will be allowed to start a second loop after midnight. The roads will be clearly marked, but not blocked off. Participants will cycle on the streets along with the regular vehicular traffic. Police officials will monitor the busy intersections with volunteers at most of the turn points.

The ride starts at 11pm at the soft-ball field parking lot area at Young Park, 1200 Adams Dairy Parkway. Receive detailed map with registration. Stick around for music and social time. The reward at the end includes bakery products and fruit. Cold beverages will be provided as well. All those participating will be entered into a drawing to win prizes donated by area merchants. All participants must have a front light, tail light, and wear a helmet.
