Not interested in racing, but still want to go fast? Been putting lots of miles in your legs to get ready for fall centuries? Or do you just want to see the beautiful side of KCK? Then ride the Cathedral Gran Fonda!
Gran Fondos are timed, non-competitive events. The Cathedral Gran Fondo will have I 0, 30 and 50 mile routes. All routes begin and end at Waterway Park. There will be no SAG stops, no orange slices, no M&Ms in Dixie cups, and no broom wagon. All riders are expected to follow traffic laws, act courteously to other road users and generally not be a jerk. You are responsible for your safety, not the rider in front of you, the organizers, the police or your school crossing guards.
