Central Iowa's Tour de Cure

Central Iowa's Tour de Cure is an annual bike ride throughout the Des Moines Metro area. The ride utilizes eight of the area YMCAs along the various routes, which include a family ride, a 25-mile ride, a 50-mile ride or a 100-mile Century Ride. The routes will go through Waukee, Clive, Urbandale, Windsor Heights, West Des Moines, Des Moines, Ankeny, Johnston and Grimes. The 100-mile Century Ride will take you on the High Trestle Trail Bridge!

Cyclists at all levels of expertise are sure to enjoy this unique day of fun, fitness, new friendships and the personal satisfaction of completing a ride to support the mission of the American Diabetes Association: to prevent and cure diabetes and improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.

No matter which distance you choose you'll be fully supported with route marshals, SAG vehicles, mechanical support, and rest stops at your local YMCA stocked with hydration and a variety of snacks to keep you fueled. At the finish, you will be welcomed with cheering volunteers, great food and much more.

All rides start and end at the Waukee Family YMCA (210 N. Warrior Lane, Waukee, IA 50263).
