Heather's Ride

Heather's Ride is a semi-competitive and non-competitive event that is intended to raise money for Heather's Camp, a program devoted to providing a summer camp experience to vision impaired and blind youth to honor the memory of Heather Muller, a young woman who was killed in 2000 and who loved children and wanted to help those with special needs. The youth at Heather's Camp benefit from increased self-confidence, new friendships, outdoor adventure, music, fun and laughter while increasing emotional growth and support to their families.

Heather's Ride offers 25, 50, or 75 mile routes through scenic south-central Kansas. Riders receive a commemorative T-shirt, guaranteed for riders who pre-register. There are SAG stops with water and snacks, minor repair service, medical assistance, and support vehicles.

The ride begins and ends at the Lake Afton Shelter 1 near Goddard, Kansas.
