Homestead 100 Bike Ride

z, the home of the Homestead National Monument, which tells the story of the the Homestead Act of 1862, which opened the Nebraska frontier for settlement. Beatrice is also home of the Homestead Trail (extending north to Lincoln), and the Chief Standing Bear Trail (extending south to the Kansas state line and the Blue River Rail Trail).

The Homestead 100 Bike Ride offers 25, 50, and 100-mile routes, traveling on highways and paved county roads. SAG support is provided every 10-15 miles. This is a fun ride so feel free to ride at your own pace. The ride raises money for local bike trails.

The Homestead 100 Bike Ride is hosted by the Big Blue Biking Club.
