Kaw Point Criterium Weekend

The Kaw Point Criterium Weekend is a two-day bicycle racing event that takes place at the historic Kaw Point Riverfront Park in Kansas City, Kansas.

The Lewis and Clark expedition arrived at Kaw Point, at the confluence of the Kansas and Missouri rivers in Kansas City, Kansas on June 26, 1806. This six-acre park features an education pavilion with interpretive signs about the expedition and trails through the woods along the river. A boat ramp and docking area allow for river access.

Proceeds benefit FreeWheels for Kids, a local nonprofit that empowers at-risk kids with cycling
