Missouri River Festival Bike Tour

Missouri River Festival Bike Tour

This annual ride is held in conjunction with the Missouri River Festival of the Arts in Boonville, Missouri. It is sponsored by the Friends of Historic Boonville, a group dedicated to the arts and the preservation of historic structures.

Cyclists depart from historic Thespian Hall plaza for a 42-mile ride through the rolling countryside of Cooper and Moniteau Counties. There is also an optional "Loop to Lupus" route which adds 10 very challenging (hilly) miles to the original 42-mile "Wooldridge" route for a total of 52 miles. All miles are some of the more scenic in Missouri with decent road surfaces and relatively little traffic.

The ride is well supported with six rest stops and support vehicles. When you finish, you will be served free ice cream on the front steps of Thespian Hall.
