InnovAge Moonlight Classic

The InnovAge Moonlight Classic Bike Ride is Denver's original nighttime bicycle ride. There's something wild about cruising on your bike in the middle of the night. Imagine the exhilaration of pedaling through the deserted streets of Denver with the magical light of the moon defining the course for you and thousands of other cyclists. Whether you're an avid cyclist or you're simply looking for a great reason to dust off that bike in your garage, you won't want to miss this event.

Over 4,500 riders will enjoy Denver by moonlight as they cruise a 10-mile closed-course beginning and ending on the grounds of the Colorado State Capitol Building.

The non-competitive ride features a closed route taking cyclists past some of Denver's best-known landmarks. Come early to participate in the pre-ride Pajama Party featuring music, games, costume contest and expo. Stay late to enjoy a complimentary breakfast. Get together with family, friends and colleagues to enter as a team. As is tradition, cyclists are encouraged to dress up in wild, crazy and creative costumes and can enter the costume contest for a chance to win great prizes.

The InnovAge Foundation is a nonprofit organization that channels community support and funding to sustain and enhance the independence and quality of life on their terms. The ride supports the programs of InnovAge, serving more than 26,000 seniors annually through InnovAge Johnson Adult Day Program, InnovAge Home Care and InnovAge Greater Colorado PACE.

The event's web site has disappeared, so presumably the event has been discontinued.
