Sunflower State Games Road Race

The Sunflower State Games Road Race is the Kansas State Championship event. It takes place at Forbes Field in Topeka, Kansas, as part of the Sunflower State Games, Kansas's largest amateur sports festival. The main mission of the Sunflower State Games is offering good, wholesome family-oriented activities and abundant fun. Beyond that, the organization takes pride that its competition exposes a multitude of Kansans to the benefits of physical fitness, well-being and good sportsmanship.

The road race features distances from 20 to 50 miles, for male and female riders in various age groups and categories, including juniors. The route is rolling with several challenging climbs on the West side of Clinton Lake. A Neutral Feed Zone with bottles is provided for the long course. All USAC rules apply, and a USAC license is required.
