The Sunflower Suffrage Ride takes place in cities throughout Kansas in homage of Susan B. Anthony, and all registration fees and donations go towards the non-profit Kansas National Organization for Women.
The Topeka edition of the Sunflower Suffrage Ride offers a family-friendly 2 mile route starting at 5th & Kansas Avenue. Participants gather at 9:30am for speakers and exciting pre-ride fun, and the ride begins at 10am. You are encouraged to dress up and have some fun!
When you register you get a free t-shirt shirt, you are supporting the lobbying of women's reproductive rights in Kansas, and are able to socialize with some really awesome feminists!
