The Sunflower Suffrage Ride takes place in cities throughout Kansas in homage of Susan B. Anthony, and all registration fees and donations go towards the non-profit Kansas National Organization for Women.
The Wichita edition of the Sunflower Suffrage Ride offers 2-mile and 5-mile courses, beginning and ending at Sedgwick County Park, Shelter 2. Check-in is at 10:00 am, and the ride begins shortly thereafter. There will be speakers and refreshments at 11:30am.
When you register you get a free t-shirt shirt, you are supporting the lobbying of women's reproductive rights in Kansas, and are able to socialize with some really awesome feminists!
