The Tour de Loco is an annual recreational bicycle ride that starts and ends at the Spirit of 76 City Park in Mt. Vernon, Missouri and tours the land of Loco (Lawrence County), exploring the picturesque hills and valleys.
There are 10, 25, 45, 66 and 100 mile courses, with each route supported by rest stops approximately every 12 miles, as well as SAG support along the routes. Helmets are required for all riders. There will be a meal following the ride.
Proceeds from the Tour de Loco will benefit The Rally, an interdenominational event focused on sharing the message of God's love to teens and pre-teens, presenting healthy, positive, Godly alternatives to self-destructive and potentially dangerous behaviors all too common among today's youth.
Tour de Loco is organized by the Locozoomos Bike Club.
