True Grit Ride 105

The True Grit Ride is an annual non-competitive bicycling event in Fort Smith, Arkansas. There are bike routes for all abilities which include 10, 30, 45, 62, or 105 miles. The pit stops are about 10 miles apart and are well stocked with drinks and food.

The event is a fundraiser to support the Community Services Clearinghouse, a nonprofit organization that provides emergency food assistance to families, children, and cancer patients. The most well-known program for the Clearinghouse is the Meals for Kids Backpack Program for school children. This program feeds over 2000 children each week throughout 7 counties in Arkansas and Oklahoma.
