Central Arkansas Trail Alliance

The Central Arkansas Trail Alliance (CATA) is a trail building community whose mission is to establish and maintain multi-use trails in Central Arkansas that are open for mountain biking. CATA seeks to provide safe access to wild places through multi-use trails. Their goal is to open up access to remote areas, construct trails and maintain them sustainably throughout the central part of Arkansas.

CATA follows International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA) trail building guidelines and works closely with state and federal land managers, other outdoor recreational clubs in Arkansas and IMBA staff to sustainably build and maintain only quality trails.

Founded in 2014 by a group of stewardship-minded mountain bikers and trail enthusiasts, Central Arkansas Trail Alliance is working to create new multi-use trail systems, maintain existing trails for mountain biking, and strategically link outdoor recreation enthusiasts for greater results.
