The Chieftain Trail is a multi-use pathway located in Tonganoxie, Kansas. It currently consists of approximately one mile of paved pathway in Chieftain Park, VFW Park, and along Main Street.
There are plans to extend the trail an additional 1.25 miles, from Chieftain Park northeast along Tonganoxie Road, to Laming Road, and then south to Woodfield Drive.
Due to inadequate lighting, signs are posted stating "Trail is not for nighttime use".
