Polk County Wildflower Ride

The Polk County Wildflower Ride is an annual event that takes place on the Frisco Highline Trail, the second longest rail-trail in Missouri. The Wildflower Ride is a metric century ride (62 miles) beginning at the Bolivar Trailhead south to Willard, turnaround and return. The course hosts a panoramic view of the Ozarks in full bloom with 16 bridges, a natural prairie, and four rest stop locations.

The Frisco Highline Trail is a scenic path through southwest Missouri's past and present, and features a crushed limestone surface and is self-supported (no sag), be prepared to be prepared to fix your own flats, etc. There are also shorter distances of 50K and 70K available on the trail.

The Polk County Wildflower Ride is organized by the Polk County Bike Club, and proceeds benefit Ozark Greenways and Frisco Highline maintenance.
