2010 Cottonwood 200 Honors Bob Frederick

From the event web site:

2010 Cottonwood 200 Honors Bob FrederickThe 2010 edition of the Cottonwood 200 will honor Dr. Bob Frederick, avid cyclist and longtime Cottonwood participant who died in a cycling accident a few weeks after the 2009 ride. Bob was a longtime educator, former athletic director at the University of Kansas, and a great humanitarian. Five dollars of all full entries will go to scholarship funds in memory of Bob Frederick.

The Cottonwood 200 is a three-day bicycle tour on paved roads through the Flint Hills of northeast Kansas. The ride covers approximately 200 miles (75 miles day one; 50 miles day two; 75 miles day three) over the Memorial Day Weekend. It is a loop tour that starts and ends at Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas.

This is the 34th year for this annual tour, and this year the event runs from May 29th through the 31st.

Registration for the 2010 ride is now open.
