The Iron Horse Trail is a proposed rail-trail between Augusta (where it would connect to the Redbud Trail) and Fredonia (where it would connect to the Western Sky Trail), over a distance of about 70 miles
The trail is to be constructed on a railbanked right-of-way, and would pass through the communities of Leon, Beaumont, Piedmont, Severy, Fall River, and New Albany.
