Timber Creek Park provides campsites at the northern tip of Milford Lake, near Wakefield, Kansas. "Timber Creek provides visitors with primitive camping opportunities with beautiful sunsets and the comforts of a nearby small town."
Timber Creek Park offers only primitive tent campsites. From April 15 through September 30, the cost is $8 per night, with vault toilets and drinking water.
From October 1 through April 14, the park provides free primitive tent camping, but no services..
Other campgrounds at Milford Lake include Curtis Creek Park, Farnum Creek Park, West Rolling Hills Park, School Creek Park, and Milford State Park. Some of these sites offer only pay camping, while others offer a mixture of pay and free tent camping opportunities.
