Kansas Cyclist - Kansas Bicycle Guide and Reference

Grand Prix HPT is an "avondcross" event (Flemish for evening 'cross), at the Heartland Park Topeka dirt track (think earthen velodrome!) in Topeka, Kansas. Racing starts at dusk and will finish under the lights. This race features a mainly hardpack dirt, a grass infield, and some gravel. As always there will be some cyclocross-type obstacles to challenge a racer's quiver of skills.

Grand Prix HPT is presented by the Sunflower State Games, Kansas's largest amateur sports festival.
