    Kansas Stimulus-Funded Projects Selected

    The Kansas Department of Transportation has selected 14 projects for federal stimulus funding, totaling about $11.4 million, 6 of which are for bike/ped (the other being historic and scenic projects). KDOT reports that they received 101 project applications totaling more than $110 million, and chose the 14 projects based on their historic significance, scenic or environmental impact, and importance to bicycle and pedestrian safety.
