Biking Across Kansas 2009 Route Announced

Biking Across Kansas, the annual week-long supported tour across the Sunflower State, has announced their 2009 route:

The tour leaves Syracuse, near the Colorado border, on Saturday, June 6th, and arrives in Louisburg, near the Missouri border, on June 13th.

The route covers about 511 miles, with overnights in Syracuse, Garden City, Jetmore, St. John, Halstead, Eureka, Humbolt, and Paola.

    Toronto Market and Deli is open year around in Toronto, KS, located 23.3 miles east of Eureka (2 miles south of Hwy 54 on Hwy 105).

    The Deli is open at 7 a.m. each day. We welcome the bicyclists traveling through on June 11. We sell bottled water, Gatorade, juices, biscuits and gravy until 11 a.m. and cold deli sandwiches through the remainder of the day. Toilet facilities available.
